Dr. Robert S. Conrad was the first ISCD Certified Prosthodontist in the United States and began training doctors and their staff members in the CEREC Method in 1997. Since that time he has continued to instruct basic, intermediate and advanced CEREC Training programs to over 4000 doctors throughout the world, not including the thousands he has addressed at major meetings. Texas' Most Outstanding Dentists
Dr. Robert S. Conrad (Bob) has been recognized by his peers as one of Texas’ Most outstanding dentists. In 2006 his fellow dentists elected him to be featured in Texas Monthly Magazine as one of Texas’ most outstanding dentists. During his dental school training he was recognized by his professors as being one of the class of 1987’s outstanding clinicians in operative dentistry and in dental materials where his passion for excellence continues today. Since then he has been recognized for his efforts in dental education by being awarded numerous awards during his post doctorial studies and on into his private practice years.
Education for the Future
Today, he continues to give back to his profession by working closely with Prosthodontic residents at the University of Texas directing their master’s thesis research and aiding them in completing their master’s degrees. He has published numerous articles and lectures both nationally and internationally on many areas in advanced dental restorative procedures and techniques. For the past 15 years Dr. Conrad has been teaching in many different areas of dentistry, most notable in the area of CAD/CAM computer technologies as related to restorative dental care. During that time he has taught literally thousands of dental professionals in the art and science of computer based technologies involved with providing state of the art dental care. He has been honored by being invited to present to the International Society of Computerized Dentistry’s educational meeting in Berlin in 2006 at the 20th Celebration of CEREC CAD/Cam technologies.
